Formwork Carpenter

Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters to work on various construction projects. The person in this role will be responsible for assembling and disassembling formworks necessary for shaping concrete structural components.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, assemble, and disassemble traditional and system formworks (e.g., Peri, Doka).
• Perform reinforcement and formwork according to technical drawings.
• Quality control of formworks and ensuring their compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and the construction manager.
• Ensure safety on the construction site and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Location: Waasmunster headquarters, projects located around Antwerp -> accommodation is not provided

Requirements:

• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a formwork carpenter.
• Knowledge of English, Dutch, or French at a communicative level.
• Familiarity with various formwork systems (especially DOKA).
• Ability to work in a team and independently perform assigned tasks.
• VCA certification.

We Offer:

• Salary determined based on qualifications/experience in the construction sector, €18.03 -> €21.70 per hour.

• Possibility of obtaining a permanent contract after a probationary period conducted through our agency.

Our client specializes in formwork for concrete structures around Waasmunster, including floors, basements, concrete walls, foundations, etc., as well as all preparatory work related to soil and sewage.
